As if being Monday wasn't bad enough. Jacob woke up at 6 this morning covered in vomit. His bedroom was even scarier. I was already not feeling well myself and now I have this to deal with. He feels like he's running a fever but he won't hold the thermometer under his tongue and he refuses to shut his mouth. I don't want to do a rectal temp on him because his poor booty is so raw from the explosive diarrhea he's been having since last night. I guess it was a sign of things to come. I tried to give him Tylenol but he just threw it up about 30 minutes later. So now he's in the bath acting like nothing ever happened and I'm freaked out. Trying to keep the two little away from each other is not working out. Would it be wishful thinking if I thought it would start and end with him? I can only hope. I can't deal with that again. After the fiasco in January '09 I can't even imagine doing that again. I'd rather have kidney stones again. No seriously, I would. What we went through the entire month of January last year is what I would envision life in hell to be like. What made it even worse is both DH and I had it at the same time and Josslyn was only 6 months old, Jacob was barely 2, and Justyn had school. I want to cry just thinking of it coming back into this house. Is it bedtime yet?

Is That A Branch In Your Pocket...

What can I say. He's my little tree huggin' hippy man. :-D
These are back from Thanksgiving time. I found them when I was going through folders. I can't believe I missed these, LOL!

Too Cute Tuesday Dear Wendy Bellissimo
In the summer of 2006 we found out we were having a beautiful baby boy. The first thing I did was run to Babies 'R' Us to get some adorable baby boy things. During this time I found the most gorgeous blanket on sale made by you. It was a gorgeous white and baby blue blanket with a crown embroidered on it and the precious words "Little Prince" on it. It was the softest blanket and I knew this would be my baby's blankey. Jacob was born in December of that same year and we immediately used this blanket for him to keep him warm. Around 6 months we started to put him in his crib with this blanket to keep him nice and cozy. We noticed that he would cry anytime he was away from it. He has slept with it ever since. He likes to suck on the corners and soothe him to sleep. Here we are 2 years later and he still can't be without it. I have searched high and low for an identical matching blanket. We even purchased another blanket made by you that we thought would work as a back up. It was the same material. The only thing different was the color. It was a failed mission. He actually laughed at us. I think he's smarter than we give him credit for ;-) . So I have been trying my hardest to find an identical match to this specific blanket without success. If you ever stumble upon my blog, and you have an extra blanket, PLEASE send it this way!!!

Me
How cute is my little man watching Toy Story with his nasty socks and even nastier blankey!!!??? Jacob has a thing for going outside with his socks on. No he doesn't take the blankey out there with him and drag it through the mud. That is one well loved blankey. Jacob sleeps with the blanket in his mouth like that. Lord help us if anything were to ever happen to that blankey, LOL.

Could It Be A Come Back?
Today everyone seems to be doing pretty well. I think I might be getting a cold but the littles are doing much better, and Justyn is in school. Could it be that we are finally all going to be healthy at the same time? I missed reading up on all my favorite blogs. I might spend tonight doing that. Last night I had all kids in bed by 8:15 and I was in bed by 10 which is unheard of for me. I guess the last month or so has really wore me out. I'm going to spend today disinfecting my house. Windows open and Lysol out. All sheets in the washer!!! I never want to be sick like this again. Well, I can see my blogging time is being cut short again. Josslyn is yelling at me and Jacob wants breakfast. Oh the joys of motherhood!
Here are some cute pics of Jac & Josslyn. Justyn is never around me long enough to get his picture taken, LOL. He's too busy for mom.

Just Me & The Littles
Rich had to go to Nebraska for training so it's just me and the kids this week. AAHHHHH! Just kidding. Luckily I have good kids that don't wear on my nerves too much. I just fixed up a gourmet dinner of chicken nuggets and tater tots. I know, I know...I should be on that Food Network. Anywho, since Rich isn't here for me to annoy, I did the next best thing...I annoyed the kids. Well, I annoyed the littles. Justyn was outside with his friends the whole day.

Golden Boy
Ahhhhhhhhhhh, nooooooooooo! Where does the time go? My little baby boy is 2 today. He is celebrating his golden birthday. It is so bittersweet to see him so grown up. He has been such a breezy kid. He even made the L&D simple. only 3.5 hours from admittance to baby! Now here we are 2 years later and he's such a blessing. We celebrated his birthday in Alabama with the family there. He had a great time and loved all his loot. When we were all singing to him he got scared and reached for daddy, LOL! He went to town on the cupcake.

CELEBUTOT!
So I previously posted about Jacob winning the Stride Rite Scrapbook contest. BTW, if you haven't entered...why not? It's free and easy. Get to it! What do you have to lose?
Anyway, so I got my shoes that I won the other day. So cute! Love them. I thought for sure I would get the cheapest shoes they had but when I went online to get the link to show a friend those suckers were $50.00! I'm so used to getting the kids' Stride Rites at the outlet. I haven't paid $50.00 for a pair of shoes in forever. Anyway, I just love these shoes so much. They fit Jacob's personality so much. So rough and rugged. He's such a little rebel. I swear people probably think we beat him up. He's covered in bruises constantly. He has no fear at all. Justyn was so opposite. Afraid of doing anything. He gets that from his mama. Well back to why I posted this blog to start with. So I go to the SRSB site to show someone the site and there on the front page is my baby boy. My little celebutot, lol. I know it's not like his face is plastered on the cover of People mag or anything but, hey, I think it's pretty nifty!
Check him out? He's this months WINNER! He was only about 10 months there, but crazy that he's not much bigger now, LOL. My little runt. Well anywho, just thought I'd share.
