Breaking Up Is Hard To Do
They say that breaking up is hard to do...Now I know, I know that it's true...Don't say that this is the end...
OK, so not that kind of breaking up, but it seems as though my beautiful baby girl is done nursing, and that is breaking my heart. She has moved on to
He quit on his own too. Of course I was pregnant with Josslyn at the time, and had a fever of 103.0 so it could have just been that. I was hoping to make it to a year, but I am thinking that is never going to happen. I still try to get her to nurse at least once a day but she just plays, rolls over, or turns her head. I guess baby girl has more important things to do. If only she knew how important to me it is that she nurses, LOL. I wish I could pump and give it to
her in a bottle but I can't pump for crap anymore. When my babies are first born I can nurse them and still pump 6.5oz right after. Now I'm lucky to get 1 oz from both sides put together. When Jacob stopped nursing I wasn't as sad because I knew I would get to nurse the next baby. Since we are done having children I know that I will never again get to nurse. I am more sad about this than not having anymore children. At least with that I have grandbabies to look forward to. I can't nurse my grandchildren. Well I could but I won't because that's a little weird, even for me, LOL.

Thousand Word Thursday
My baby girl is 9 months today. She had her 9 month WBV and she's 19lbs 13oz & 28" long. She only got 1 shot today and her little toe pricked to check her hemoglobin which was perfect! Here are some pics from her appt.

Jacob was crying because Josslyn was crying from her shot. He doesn't like it when she cries. He's so cute. He wants nothing to do with her but gets sad when she's sad. Such a great big brother.

Loving My Matilda Girl
Ahhh, one of the best things about having a baby girl is playing dress up. I loved dressing up my babies when I was little so this has been heaven. Recently I have become addicted to Matilda Jane Clothing. It's really more of an obsession. I can't wait to get my order from the new line. I bought this bubble I showed you on here a couple weeks ago in a size 12 months from someone online. Seeing it in her closet has made it harder and harder to resist putting it on her. Today I broke down and did just that! I. Am. In. Love! So here are some pics of my baby girl, in her very first, Matilda Jane.

The Incredible Unedible Egg
I've officially been blessed with a baby that has food allergies. I don't have them nor do the boys or the husband but Josslyn definitely cannot eat eggs anymore. I gave them to J&J when they were babies so I thought I could give it to Joss. Boy was I wrong. My poor baby girl puffed up like crazy. She had bumps all over her face. Eyes were sooo swollen and watery. I feel so guilty. I just didn't expect this to happen. I hope that she out grows this and can eat the incredible edible someday.

I noticed it almost immediately after giving her a bite of my eggs. I gave her just a little bit of Benadryl, called the DR (only to be told a nurse would call me back, ugh) and then put her in the bath. This is my first experience with this in a child so I was running around like a crazy chicken. The nurse called me back and told me to just give her Benadryl. That made me feel better to know it was fixable without needing to rush her to the ER. She took a nap and her face went back to normal.

I'm The Baby! I'm The Baby!
...And I'm having a helluva time letting go of the fact that my baby girl is growing up. She has already started to nurse less and less. I am hoping she will at least keep going 4 more months. She is up to 20lbs and probably should be out of the swing but I just can't help myself. She loves it, and I love her in it. We only use it for when we need her to just take a quick cat nap. We know the boys will never let her sleep for very long, LOL.
Baby steps. Baby steps. It's hard to believe she is my last little bundle of joy. Oh how I miss the newborn snuggle stage. The immobile stage. Soon giving kisses will be embarrassing and I will only be needed for clean laundry and something to eat. ::sniff sniff:: I can't wait for grandkids. Well, I can.

Pinky Dinky Who?
My kids love watching Pinky Dinky Do and I have to tell ya...that is one entertaining cartoon, LOL. Here I sit on the sofa trying to catch up on my bloggy good reads when I catch myself watching Pinky's great big idea. Makes me feel like a kid again. Oh how I'd love to be a kid again.
I've been in such a blog funk lately. I feel like I can't get anything done anymore. Josslyn is crawling and getting into everything. Jacob is killing me with his two year old attitude which is only made worse by Justyn's crappy tude.
I did a photo session last weekend. I was super nervous and I did a horrible job. My timing was totally off. I wanted to start when the sun was going down but ended up starting an hour too early. Totally my fault. I should have stayed longer and got the shots I needed to get but Rich, not realizing I had planned to do the session that weekend, had surprised me with tickets to see Dane Cook so I had to get going in order to make it there in time. Makes me feel like maybe being a photographer isn't my fortay. I'm so critical of myself but even Rich said I should redo the pictures. Isn't he sweet?!
My ILs were just in town. We had a blast with them here, even though it was just a short visit. This coming weekend we have friends coming in town. I'm excited. I love good times with good people.
Anyway, that was my update for ya. I know you have all been dying for one! ;-P
Here are some pictures of my lil baby girl. My she has grown. I'm ever so sad about it.

Wordless Wednesday - Flashless
So my new camera I just bought is a flashless one. Which means it's Au natural light for me. So since my camera is coming on Thursday I thought I should practice more manual, no flash, pictures. I took these yesterday evening at dusk.

Could It Be A Come Back?
Today everyone seems to be doing pretty well. I think I might be getting a cold but the littles are doing much better, and Justyn is in school. Could it be that we are finally all going to be healthy at the same time? I missed reading up on all my favorite blogs. I might spend tonight doing that. Last night I had all kids in bed by 8:15 and I was in bed by 10 which is unheard of for me. I guess the last month or so has really wore me out. I'm going to spend today disinfecting my house. Windows open and Lysol out. All sheets in the washer!!! I never want to be sick like this again. Well, I can see my blogging time is being cut short again. Josslyn is yelling at me and Jacob wants breakfast. Oh the joys of motherhood!
Here are some cute pics of Jac & Josslyn. Justyn is never around me long enough to get his picture taken, LOL. He's too busy for mom.
