You Ask & I Answer

First off, thank you to everyone who left comments yesterday! Much appreciated. :-)

Second, I got a lot of comments asking what camera I used. The type of editing program I use. Am I available. OK, maybe not the latter, but just in case someone was wondering, No, I'm married! Anywho, I tried to reply to most everyone but a lot of you don't have reply to your email. So I couldn't answer you directly. I don't want you to think I'm ignoring you, so I decided to answer you right here. Hopefully you come back to read my answers.

Q: "What kind of Camera did you take these with?"

A: I took these pictures, as well as all my other ones so far, with a Canon Rebel XTi. I used my 50mm lens. I got a new camera, Canon 5D, that should be coming today, YAY!

Q: "What editing program do you use?"

A: I have Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop CS4, and Paint Shop Pro XI. I use Lightroom for about 20% of my editing and the other 80% is in PSP XI. I recommend PSP XI because it's a lot less complicated and a lot cheaper. PS CS4 is great but can be extremely complicated and overwhelming.

Wordless Wednesday - Flashless

So my new camera I just bought is a flashless one. Which means it's Au natural light for me. So since my camera is coming on Thursday I thought I should practice more manual, no flash, pictures. I took these yesterday evening at dusk.

I took this inside with my bounce flash.

Not Me Monday Tuesday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

I certainly did not do my Not Me Monday on Tuesday because I was too lazy to do it yesterday. Nope, not me.

I for surely did not get our taxes done the other day and frivolously spend some of it before it even hit our bank account.

I absolutely did not go to bed angry at my husband last night. NO, because they strongly advise against that, and I am always one to follow advice.

Could It Be A Come Back?

Today everyone seems to be doing pretty well. I think I might be getting a cold but the littles are doing much better, and Justyn is in school. Could it be that we are finally all going to be healthy at the same time? I missed reading up on all my favorite blogs. I might spend tonight doing that. Last night I had all kids in bed by 8:15 and I was in bed by 10 which is unheard of for me. I guess the last month or so has really wore me out. I'm going to spend today disinfecting my house. Windows open and Lysol out. All sheets in the washer!!! I never want to be sick like this again. Well, I can see my blogging time is being cut short again. Josslyn is yelling at me and Jacob wants breakfast. Oh the joys of motherhood!

Here are some cute pics of Jac & Josslyn. Justyn is never around me long enough to get his picture taken, LOL. He's too busy for mom.

Foto-tastic Friday

I know you have all been yurning for some photo goodness. Admit it. You can't get enough of seeing my kids. Okay, Okay, so that may be a huge exaggeration. I know I personally can't get enough of them. That might be a huge exaggeration as well.

Anyway, we have recently started Josslyn on some big girl treats. Some Gerber Graduate snacks. She loves her some yogart melts and rice puffs. Of course you know I took some pictures!!!

Thank You Uncle Sam, Thank You Antibiotics.

IT'S TAX SEASON!!! I freakin' love tax season. We got our taxes done the other night and got an extremely nice return. So, as a gift to me, my spousey told me to buy the camera I have been dying for. The Canon 5D, and the 85mm lens! HOLLA!

He's so good to me. It's a nice gift to get after the last 30 days of sickies. By the way, Josslyn now has an ear infection, and Jacob is on his way to one. Fun right?! She's on antibiotics and I'm sure in a couple days I'll be taking him in as well. Good news is she doesn't have RSV again, which I was afraid of. Hopefully we will get back to normal here real soon and I can get back to my Wordless Wednesdays and Not Me Mondays. Miss you bloggy world!!!

I Surrender!

I am so over having sick people in this house! I surrender! If that is what it takes to get everyone healthy, and to stay healthy for a long while, then I surrender. Josslyn now has a fever and sounds very croupy. I have a feeling I will be taking her into the DR today. I gave her a nebulizer treatment last night and it seemed to help a little bit. Today she's just so sleepy and calm. It's only a matter of time before the rest of us get it. BOOOO!

On the upside...today we have a new president!!! WAAAHOOO! I'm sitting here watching the inauguration and I have little goosebumps. Such a fabulous day in history and I am so happy that I was alive to see it. I can't wait to see what Obama has to offer this country.

Well back to dealing with a sickie mama. I can't wait to be back in my bloggy world. Come on spring!!!

Happy Flippin' New Year!

UGH, The past week and a half has been HELL! Everyone in this house was sick, though Josslyn didn't get it too bad. I thought I was going to die. I've never used the bathroom so much in my life! We are finally all better as of today and all this started New Years Day. So that is where I have been. Busy as hell and sick. I hope to jump back into blogging now that I can sit at the computer longer than 5 minutes without going poo.

Santa Baby

Was good to me this year. Well really he was good to all of us. Justyn maxed out on the Star Wars stuff and got a Razor scooter than he has been dying for. Jacob got a power wheel for his big gift and a little scooter for him as well. Josslyn didn't get much but she doesn't need much. She did get a beautiful rocking horse from (maternal) Paw Paw John and a GORGEOUS princess castle coin bank from (paternal) Paw Paw & Maw Maw. Daddy & Mommy got an Xbox 360 & 2 games from (maternal) Paw Paw and I got Rich some Xbox accessories for his gaming pleasure. I got my ShootSac I've been dying for. I also got some memory for my computer, a polarized lens filter, and a Shark steam mop.

Summer Christmas Time & The Livin' is Easy Hot.

So for the first time ever in my life I went to the beach the day after Christmas. It was a beautiful 80 degrees. We decided to head down to St. Pete and spend some time relaxing on the white sands. Water was chilly but people were still getting in. Crazy! We had a fabulous Christmas this year. Everyone was spoiled blessed and dinner was decent. It was my first time cooking a holiday meal and I did it all by myself. Well I'd love to add more to this post but Josslyn just woke up from her nap and is calling my name. Well not really but...

Here are some pics of our day at the beach. I will post Christmas pics at her next nap, LOL.
